The FundInjured Marine Semper Fi Fund
On May 18, 2004, a small group of concerned Marine Corps spouses founded the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund to provide financial grants and other assistance to the Marines, sailors, and families of those injured serving our nation. In the summer of 2004, General Alfred M. Gray, the 29th Commandant of the Marine Corps, two retired general officers, and a retired sergeant major joined them. The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund has had over 1,400 cases and given more than $5 million in grants to our wounded heroes and their families.
It's my pleasure and honor to post information about this organization. The need is great and those who are helped are so deserving. You can help by making a donation and/or spreading the word. Semper Fi!
(And a hat tip to my husband, Ric, who discovered this group and passed the information along.)
